Route Delivery Manager

Salary: £42,500 - £63,500 depending on skills and experience + annual incentive and car/cash allowance

Location: Melksham, Nottingham, Manchester (3 vacancies - 1 per location)

Working for a specialist rail division of one of the UK largest energy businesses in the UK with over 15 years' experience delivering projects to meet the growing demands of Britain's rail infrastructure with diverse experience in design, engineering, project, reactive and maintenance works across the UK's rail network. We are a busy team with projects spanning the UK.

Within the role of Route Delivery Manager, you'll be responsible for planning, organising, monitoring, controlling and delivering a profitable operational function in accordance with the Company's core values, working in partnership with sales and delivery support to deliver a sustainable and profitable business account. You'll lead and manage teams of Project Managers, Site Managers, Engineers, Supervisors and Operatives to ensure a high level of motivation ensuring that team and individual performance and all training and development needs are identified.

As a strong communicator, you'll build solid relationships with the Sales team, working with them on business development activities within your region and where required national accounts.

To be successful in this role you'll ideally have a degree in Electrical Engineering (although not essential) and have a strong operational and engineering background with a proven track record in the delivery of projects on and adjacent to the Railway infrastructure. CEM experience is desirable and ideally you will hold a PTS certificate. You'll have the ability to initiate, design, plan and manage multiple projects and have a thorough understanding of specifications, design processes, technical drawings and contract documentation.
