Accountabilities

Provides Onshore Project oversight and management of the EPC Contractors' development and implementation of Project transportation plans within RLIC.

Reviews and approves EPC Contractor's transportation sequence plans, work plans, pre-task planning, and method statements to ensure comprehensive safety and risk have been mitigated.

Responsible to represent Onshore Project as its first responder with the EPC Contractor for emergency Traffic situations on 24/7 basis for the EPC work.

Stewards the EPC Contractor's reporting, investigation, and resolution of Road Traffic incidents in conjunction with SHES team.

Provides Onshore Project oversight and management of the EPC Contractor's management of the RLIC roadways and all site Interfaces with roads and traffic.

Provides oversight and management of the EPC Contractor's site improvement projects to efficiently manage travel flow within the EPC Contractors' sites and flow onto the RLIC road network. Provides NFE Project liaison to RLIC to support the EPC Contractor's Traffic Management efforts.

Develops and provides routine reports on the status of traffic operations to the Camp O&M Head. Also supports Construction Mechanical Equipment Team to ensure all passenger vehicles are in good operations shape working and supports inspections of all transportation equipment when required.

Supports the Onshore Project's participation in Site Toolbox Meetings, Works in collaboration with the EPC Contractors to provide a united project position with RLIC.

Takes initiative based on experience to deliver timely and cost-effective service.

Sets situations/issues in the context of the entire team and have an appreciation of the wider relationships with other people and organizations.

Exhibits team leadership skills, integrity, self-confidence, and fairness.

Manages personnel and is responsible for the team support to the project.

Must be willing and able to switch from Night shift to Day shift if required. The ability to multi-task is a plus.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with the transportation/movement of personnel. Experience in Road Traffic Planning in Heavy traffic areas, e.g., Industrial Areas/Projects, understanding traffic light timing, and road traffic decongestion is a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree/College Diploma or equivalent years of experience.
  • Able to demonstrate proven project management skills; possesses excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other common desktop applications and emails (MS Outlook).
  • Worldwide experience in the movement of Bus traffic, vehicular traffic heavy equipment, and materials from ports and roadways.
  • Proven Management and leadership skills.
  • Strong teamwork, and facilitation, with the ability to communicate and interact at all levels of the organization.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse cultures to obtain world-class performance.
  • Middle East region experience preferred, with recent experience (last 3 years) on QG Projects and working in Ras Laffan Industrial City

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Associates's degree or more than 5 years of construction experience.

Knowledge

Minimum ten (10) years experience and five (5) years

Experience in project execution. Supervisory experience is a plus.

Project experience (last 3 years) is a plus.
