Retail Catering Assistants

Location - Faslane, Helensburgh

Contract - Starting August 2018 for 2 months initially with view to contract extension

Rate - £8.75 per hour + holiday pay

Our client based at Faslane, Helensburgh are seeking to source 2 reliable and flexible Retail Catering Assistants for a 2 month contract role with view to contract extension. Candidates will be required to complete Security Clearance documentation prior to mobilisation.

The focus of this role is to promote a welcoming environment while serving food and beverages to customers.

Post holder will be required to work as part of the Retail Catering Assistant resource pool, working flexibly across Retail Food Outlets within Hospitality & Retail Services.

Post holder will be responsible for food preparation such as vegetable preparation and salad making as directed by the Chef, setting up, operating and replenishing hot/cold food counters and serveries, maintaining a clean and tidy environment.

Post holder will be required to handle cash and chip and pin for purchases.

Previous experience in serving/ handling food is required

A food Hygienic certificate would desirable but not essential.

Hours would be 34 per week

Retail Catering Assistant (rotating 2 weekly pattern)

Assistant 1: Monday to Thursday 0630 - 1410 (40 min unpaid break)

Friday 0630 - 1230 (34 hours)

Assistant 2: Monday to Thursday 0700 - 1440 (40 min unpaid break)

Friday 0700 - 1300 (34 hours)
