Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Reservoir Engineer, based in Aberdeen. This is a PAYE contract role with a North Sea operator.

Responsibilities:
- Reservoir evaluation and modelling: build or maintain dynamic reservoir models for green or brown field(s)
- Responsible for long-term production forecasting to support Business Plan & Annual Reserves/Resource bookkeeping
- Production surveillance and optimization in a subsea set up. Production optimization, opportunity identification & reservoir management in both black oil, volatile oil, gas condensate & dry gas reservoirs in both legacy & recently drilled wells.
- Provide reservoir engineer input to Well Maturation & Production Optimization opportunities including analogue benchmarking, production forecasting & reserves estimate and Pore-Pressure-Prediction
Experience & Qualifications:
- Key Reservoir Engineering competencies: Reservoir Simulation, Production Forecasting, Pore-Pressure prediction, Pressure Transient Analysis, PVT
- Reservoir Simulation / Integrated Modelling software: experienced user of tNAV or Eclipse/Intersect, Petex Suite (MBAL, GAP, RESOLVE, Prosper). Knowledge of IVM is a plus.
- Pressure Transient Analysis: experienced used of KAPPA (Saphir) suite
- Experienced user of Power BI and PetroVR is a plus.
