Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Research Consultant, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities will include:
Quality-assured and rigorous market research and analysis to quantify the current and expected market size for products and services (split by geography and industry segment)
Identify specific emergent and historic market drivers and market trends
Verify the competitor landscape (to include a split by market share and key differentiators)
Identify client requirements and expectations
Identify potential growth opportunities for the company and routes of entry into these opportunities.

Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in business/marketing/accountancy/economics/statistics/mathematics, with significant professional working experience, preferably in an analytical/research role.
Knowledge of primary and secondary research techniques, as well as data manipulation.
Some industry experience is preferred but not necessary.

Contract position - 3 months
