Our EPC client are looking for a Requirements Engineer to be based in Warrington.

Proposed responsibilities:

The BEP project will safely design and deliver a Plant and the works in accordance with the requirements of the contract to enable conditioning of wastes from the various donor plants,

The work will be carried out in line with the Employer's needs and to the satisfaction of stakeholders in the BEP project.

The project is executed from a number of locations, namely offices in Birchwood, Stockton-On-Tees, Westlakes (Cumbria) and Leyland.

The project will use a software database system termed the Dynamic Object Orientated Requirements System (DOORS) provided by IBM.

* Engage with the design teams in all locations to ensure the requirements and associated validation and verification are correctly identified, formatted, fit for purpose, approved and fulfil requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

* Assist multi discipline teams to identify Verification activities for their System requirements, and assist them in identifying Validation and Verification Evidence and updating this in the DOORS database.

* Ensure that the client is engaged and that they and other stakeholders needs are satisfied.

* Work with all stakeholders and ensure they are aware of their duties to support the work.

* Produce periodic and ad-hoc reports from within the DOORS database.

* Report on performance and assist with proper execution and upkeep of the DOORS database and supporting processes.

Educational Professional Qualifications Required:

* Preferably previous experience as a Requirements Engineer or Verification Engineer using a recognised Requirements Management tool (preferably IBM DOORS 9.5).

* Experience working in large multi-discipline engineering projects, (e.g. Energy Sector, Oil and Gas, Rail, or Nuclear)

* Working within a large multi-site team environment.

* Minimum of 4 years' experience in an engineering role

Additional Comments:

The ability to obtain BPSS is essential for continuance in the role.

SC preferred but can be obtained once appointed if required

Familiar with Microsoft Office software.

Experienced with the IBM DOORS software package.
