Regional Field Sales Manager

Territory - Manchester / North England area

Our client, a market leader who specialises in heating alloys, elements, modules, systems and connected services for industrial heating and high temperature applications. They are seeking to appoint a Regional Sales Engineer to develop and grow their business in northern UK, Scotland and Ireland.

As Regional Sales Manager you will be responsible to promote and sell our client's products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range, and list of customer accounts to achieve significant sales targets. You will be an integral and important part of the Northern EMEA sales team and work closely with supporting team members from their Stoke-On-Trent office and other colleagues from around the world.

The role requires a self-motivated, results-oriented sales professional with a strong technical aptitude and communication skills along with a passion to succeed. The Regional Sales Manager will develop new sales opportunities and optimize existing accounts to increase product market share and new product introduction. Interest and experience in territory management, new business development, and customer retention are primary factors of success.

You will Develop, Retain & Grow the sales and profitability within the assigned markets (Northern UK, Ireland and Scotland) for all our client's Products & Services.

You will be required to support the National Sales Manager in establishing Annual Customer sales forecast.

The role will require you to perform the following tasks: Prospecting, sales calls, product training, customer support/analysis, process/product recommendations, documented cost savings and CRM management.

Candidate profile

Highly organised, self-starter

Proven track record in technical sales

Degree qualified in relevant field or equivalent experience

Strong networking skills and able to cultivate new relationships

IT literate

This is a field based position, yet there is a possibility to have an office at our client's Stoke-on-Trent facility. Location flexible, ideally around the Manchester area.
