EAST REGION - Essex

The business enjoys a first-class reputation in its sector and is now embarking on a particularly exciting and challenging phase in its further development and expansion. As a result of this plan for growth we currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Regional Director to lead our teams in the East of England.

The Regional Director will have full responsibility for the delivery of the business objectives within their specific regional geographic area. Working closely with the Operations Director, they will ensure the Operations Team within this area work safely delivering optimum performance in all set targets, customer satisfaction and create opportunities for innovation. The role requires a strong business perspective and the ability to lead a motivated team to further develop our prosperous business. As a member of the Operations Executive team, the Regional Director will contribute commercially and play a key role in winning and delivering profitable business to the highest service, quality and safety standards.

Key duties and responsibilities of the role will include ensuring the profitability of a number of individual profit centres, managing individual contract overview and direction, managing business development, sales and order book. In addition you will be responsible for adjudicating and managing tenders including commercial risk exposure and delivering high standards of safety performance, managing finance, resources and administration and managing client development and liaison. You will be tasked with controlling staff recruitment and development and achieving profit targets

You will have a proven track record in a management capacity in the construction industry (Mechanical and Electrical Building Services), with particular emphasis on managing multiple contracts with end user clients, including budgetary and financial control. With the ability to identify and implement innovative and effective business improvements, you will demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills.

An ambitious team-player, with exceptional commercial acumen, you will motivate and drive your team towards successful results on behalf of your customers. You will embrace and deliver our Company values, with particular emphasis on delivering the highest levels of Health and Safety. Your qualifications should include a minimum ONC level in an engineering discipline and you will most likely currently be operating at senior management level in the M&E contracting industry.
