I currently require a Quantity Surveyor to join an exciting and expanding team based in the North of Scotland.

This would be an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to take their career within Residential or Commercial Construction to the next level. This role has excellent progression prospects, and the opportunity to thrive within an expanding business.

As well as the generous salary on offer, candidates will be offered a company car/allowance and discretionary bonus.

Suitable candidates will have relevant experience within a similar role.

Duties of the role are quite varied through a variety of sectors within construction including Industrial, Private Development, Residential and Commercial.

Daily duties will include, but not be limited to -

Managing the development of your portfolio of sites
Commercial cost appraisals
Managing of sub-contractors, materials and goods
Monitoring and preparing site costs and budgets
Undertake build cost assessments of acquired sites
Maintaining a strong control of budgets throughout the life cycle of the development
Reporting on costs vs budget
Costing and preparation of budgets for each stage of site development
Procuring of sub-contractors, goods and materials

To be suitable for this role, candidates will -

Have a strong background in a similar role within the Construction industry
Hold a relevant degree/qualification (Desirable)
Have experience of working on a variety of small to medium sized projects of values typically between £100k and £2m
