Our client is looking to recruit a Quality Manager to join their Perth based team.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensure that Quality management systems, procedures and process are in place and monitored regularly, and provide Business Lines with advice and support as needed
  • Ensure all locations are compliant with WorleyParsons Integrated Management System.
  • Oversee and participate in Quality audits as agreed within the Project assurance schedule.
  • Provide direction/advice to Business Line managers and overall project team in relation to project Quality and client requirements
  • Develop robust relationships to ensure effective management of internal and external clients and suppliers.
  • Identify areas for QA/QC training across all Business Lines and project locations to ensure areas are undertaking work according to their QA responsibilities.
  • Develop strategies for the implementation of the project QA Management Plan that complies with company policies and procedures and achieves client requirements.
  • Develop strategies for the identification of QA risks and ensuring client requirements are delivered according to ISO 9001:(current certified version).
  • Ensure all locations are compliant with WorleyParsons Integrated management System.
  • Investigate claims of non-conformance by internal and external clients and report findings and recommendations.
  • Facilitate the Continual Improvement of QA/QC processes to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Oversee the performance of the QA/QC function to ensure timely and cost effective delivery of Quality services
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and legislation
  • Develop a team to provide all of contracted services, as required or implied
  • Participate in on-going training and self-development as agreed with the line manager.

Experience:

  • Sound understanding of current legislation and ISO standards.
  • Good communication skills and proven ability to work alongside a client organisation
  • Ability to react, work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work under own initiative and lead a team QA/QC personnel.
  • Willingness to accept new challenges and prioritise work requirements
  • Flexibility with working hours relating to operational requirements.
  • Regular travel to site locations to meet with project leadership.
  • Comprehensive experience managing vendors and sub-vendor QA delivery.
  • Extensive site based project experience with minimum 2 years working in an EPCM contract environment.

Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

  • A recognised tertiary degree or equivalent qualification

Preferred:

  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification and experienced Quality Internal Auditor
