Job Title: Quality Lead

Location: Somerset

Background: The role plays a key part in the development of a Nuclear New Build in the SW.

Skills and experience: * Preferably degree in specific engineering discipline Should have competence, knowledge & experience gained from a specific engineering discipline (qualified to HND level as a minimum) * Experience in delivering major nuclear power projects * Strong knowledge of efficient and effective Quality systems from first principles and best practice * Strong understanding of Quality processes in major projects across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning * Worked in compliance with National and International standards such as GS-R-3, ISO 9001, ISO19443 * Ability to influence the Quality aspects of complex contractor and subcontractor supplier relationships nationally and internationally * Ability to influence and to provide constructive challenge which is accepted by others * Should have major project experience, preferably having project management qualification * Should possess a recognised Quality qualification and accreditation

Main Activities: * The primary purpose of the role of the Quality Lead is to support the Delivery Manager and their multi discipline teams with subject matter expertise, supporting the project delivery teams to meet their objectives * Under the leadership of the Delivery Manager the Quality Lead's primary purpose is to ensure the strict adherence of the supply-chain to the contracted quality requirements within their respective PPM
