Contract length: 4 months

We at Orion Group are currently recruiting a QC Technician II on behalf of one of our Multinational Medical Device Clients based in Carlsbad, CA.

The Quality Control Technician tests and verifies manufactured material to ensure that the Company's consumables and documentation meet quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform routine laboratory testing of consumables utilizing instruments to ensure they are meeting production specifications.
  • Execute quality control inspections to ensure in-process materials meet production specifications.
  • Perform laboratory daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning protocols.
  • Other quality control functions as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate's degree in chemistry, biology, or related field.
  • Elementary statistics knowledge required
  • 2 - 4 years laboratory experience with proficiency operating fundamental laboratory test equipment.
  • Must have a positive attitude & strong willingness to learn.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Able to demonstrate time management skills.
