The UK/Ireland Quality Assurance department is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Associate with a science background. This position is initially for a 12-month assignment. No prior quality experience is required but would be advantageous, particularly in the area of product complaints. You will participate in the routine activities of the department to assist in ensuring Good Distribution Practice (GDP) regulatory compliance with our Wholesale Distribution Authorisations (WDAs) in the UK and Ireland, including:

* Primary Responsibility - Product Complaints: supporting the intake of Product Complaints and distribution-related complaints. This will involve liaison with our third-party call center, home care delivery services, Logistic Service Provider (LSP) and customers/patients
* Primary Responsibility - Service/Distribution Complaints: monitoring and compiling country data for service/distribution-related complaints received by Customer Services and/or our Logistics Service Provider
* Secondary Responsibility - Temperature Excursions: a collection of data to support temperature excursion assessments
* Secondary Responsibility Projects: Supporting specific project-related activities as determined by the Senior Manager, Quality Assurance.

We are looking for someone who is organised, detail-oriented and a logical thinker who can work autonomously. Good time management skills are essential.

This is an interesting cross-functional role based in Cambridge, UK, where you would be working directly with the Quality Assurance Student Intern and the Senior Associate Quality Assurance. You will report to the Senior Manager Quality Assurance. You will have interactions with other UK/Ireland Affiliate staff and functions (Medical Information, Safety, Commercial) as well as interactions with our manufacturing and distribution site in Breda, the Netherlands. This is a great opportunity to gain experience within a busy quality environment.
