Ensure that all QHSE work undertaken for the company complies with QHSE legislation, company Policies and objectives.
Reporting to the Head of QHSE in advising all company employees on all aspects of QHSE.
Enhancing and implementing the company QHSE and Business Management Systems.
Providing QHSE support to exploration, developments and operations activities.
Ensuring the company complies with parent company management systems requirements and Management Systems are fully documented and kept up-to-date.Provide advice to others on implementing systems and procedures.

Conduct internal, external audits, technical QHSE reviews and management reviews.
Maintain BMS accredited to ISO 14001 and 18001 and future updates and amendments as required.
Incident Investigation, reporting and closeout of supporting recommendations.
Monitor on going QHSE activities for production operations, the contracted operator where appropriate, and the Independent Competent Party to ensure compliance with UK Legislation and company Policy.
Completion of QHSE for exploration, survey and drilling activities including contractor selection, review of contractor procedures plans.
Assist in occupational health and safety for staff, including risk assessments, QHSE training.
Preparation and on-going maintenance of Safety Cases, Combined Operations Notifications and verification schemes for company facilities.
Assist in the review of contractor's Major Hazard Assessments with respect to the design and operation of company facilities.
Assist in the review of contractor's QHSE plans when undertaking work on behalf of the company.
Participate in Operational Risk Assessments, HAZIDs and HIRAs.
Skills required.
Relevant science or engineering degree.
Extensive experience working for UK based offshore oil & gas industry.
Considerable experience working with UK based design / construction / drilling contractors.
Experience of working offshore.
Experience in liaising with partners and contractors.
Health & safety activities, legislation and guidance required for the offshore oil & gas industry.
Environmental activities, legislation and guidance for the offshore oil & gas industry.
Safety cases for combined operations notifications and bridging documents.
Presenting and participating at meetings with partners,contractors and head office.
Experience and previous training in Emergency Response procedures.
NEBOSH certified.
BOSIET including HUET and CA-EBS.
Offshore medical certificates.
