AUT / NDT Specialist - Oil & Gas Operator - Baku - NET Day rate + package (Residential - 8/2 rotation)

The successful applicant will be responsible to provide support and expertise to the engineering, qualification, fabrication and installation/construction for all activities related to AUT/NDT of rigid pipe, Pipe In Pipe & associated subsea structures (FLET, Jumper, Riser, Spools...), for the needs of the project..

Role overview:

- The job holder is in charge, within the URF team, and under the responsibility of the QA/QC Lead and Material/Welding/NDT Lead Engineer of activities related to NDT, specially AUT.

- The job holder shall justify of previous experience in NDT (MUT/RT/MPI/DPI/VI) in Manufacturing and fabrication yard. The job holder shall be preferably certified as an EN/COFREND/ASNT Level 3 in several disciplines, Level 2 being the minimum qualification scheme required. Concerning AUT, the job holder shall be Level 3 certified.

- The job holder will ensure, during detailed engineering, procurement and construction phases, that all deliverables and documents (both internal and external) related to the disciplines and subjects he/she is in charge of are timely issued and fit for purpose. He/she shall ensure compliance of Contractors deliverables and documents with Company HSSEQ requirements and specifications, with applicable codes and standards and best engineering practices, and with Project specifications, with regards to these disciplines. He/she will review deviations to Company specifications or deviations requests/technical queries. The job holder will be the Contractor contact point for all matters related to the disciplines and subjects he/she is in charge of. He leads in the relationship with the Contractor for the disciplines and subjects he/she is in charge of.

- The job holder reports to the QA/QC Lead, Material/Welding/NDT lead and URF Flowline Lead / Construction Lead.

- The job holder is also accountable for demonstrating an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSSE rules and requirements and for ensuring their implementation within his/her scope of responsibility.

Required skills and experience:

- Extensive experience in AUT /NDE activities.

- Good knowledge of AUT/NDE for mecanized weld for line pipes, Pipe In Pipe operations and all others (structures , piping, etc…)

- Level III RT/MUT/MPI/DPI/VI ( minimum Level II) and AUT ( Level III): Essential

- Previous experience of managing Contractor NDT Qualification for on/offshore construction: Essential

- Languages: English mandatory
