Due to our client's nationalization program that only Omani Nationals will be considered for the role .
Professional engineer with a broad QA/QC experience in Design, Procurement, Construction and Project Management. Shall be a Graduate Engineer (B.Sc. Eng. / BE/B.Tech.) either in Mechanical / Metallurgical / Welding / Electrical / Instrumentation/Civil engineering as appropriate.Shall have minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in onshore oil and gas facility construction.
Shall have management experience in establishment, operation and maintenance of quality management system in accordance with ISO/TS 29001 / ISO 9000 with the capability of developing quality system, quality plans, work procedures and inspection plans.
Shall be an IRCA, UK Registered Lead Assessor, ASQ Quality Auditor or equivalent.
Shall be well versed in quality improvement techniques, resolving issues, carrying out root cause analysis and non-conformance investigations.
Shall have data analysis and reporting skills.
Experience in managing EP and Construction Contractor.
Excellent communications and inter-personal / leadership skills are essential.
Team player, acting as a champion to break new grounds and self-motivated.
Ability to manage the relationship with key stakeholders.
Proven track record of result deliveries in challenging project environments.
Review & approval of Quality documents (CQP, PQP,ITP, Purchase specifications/ requisitions, Procedures, Method statements, WPS, PQR, MTC etc) submitted by the contractors / vendors.
Liaise with functional team for timely response on documents sent to them.
Monitor Implementation of Manufacturing ITPs.
Review CV, Interview & Approval of contractors Quality personnel.
Attending Project meetings (Kick off meeting /Pre Inspection meetings/ internal Project team meetings/ reviews).
Regular interactions with quality team members at site communicate quality related information on the projects to them as needed and gather quality related reports.
Review Monthly Quality Reports from contractors & site QA/QC personnel and identify potential quality issues and report concerns if any.
Prepare Weekly highlights and monthly quality reports & submit to Asset Quality Lead.
Liaise with Project engineers/ TPI inspectors to execute procurement quality inspections as necessary. Review Inspection reports from shop inspectors/ TPI inspectors and support resolution of procurement quality issues. Issue inspection release notes.
Conducting regular QA/QC meetings with project execution team, contractors & CLIENT site QC team.
Conduct Quality awareness & Lessons learnt sessions.
Establish quality audit schedule for the cluster, Perform Internal audit on projects /External Quality Audits on vendors, Manufacturers & contractors.
