Our client is currently recruiting for the position of QA Engineer, based in Westhill Aberdeenshire.

Responsibilities will include:
Provide QA/QC technical support to drilling, well maintenance and intervention operations to minimise Non Productive Time, reduce risk and improve reliability
Provide technical support, advice and guidance to QA & QC Engineers where required
Evaluate QA/QC technical content of equipment and service tenders, purchase orders and contracts
Review, Approval and update of Vendor Quality Plans to ensure current standards are followed and lessons learned are captured for continued improvement
Lead equipment / service failure investigations to identify lessons learnt and improvement opportunities
Resolve Inspection related anomalies and non-conformities
Undertake verification and auditing activities on Contractors equipment and services to assure Vendor & Equipment conformance to Company & Industry Standards and Specifications
Lead and develop product qualification / testing programmes to support integrity and reliability objectives
Plan, facilitate, report and follow up on Key Service Provider Service Quality Meetings (SQM's)

Qualifications & Experience
Higher National Certificate in an Oil & Gas sector related discipline
Experience of working with QHSE Management Systems and Quality processes
Knowledge and understanding of Oil & Gas equipment, Manufacturing processes, Industry Regulations, Specifications, Codes & Standards
Practical and theoretical knowledge and understanding of drilling, completion, intervention and maintenance operations
IRCA registered Lead Auditor qualification
Experience with leading investigations, Root Cause Analysis techniques and report writing
Experience in preparing and delivering technical documents and presentations
