Purchasing Assistant/Buyer
Contract role - 12 weeks+
Location - Perth
Rate - £14.50 per hour

Our client, a successful engineering manufacturing business is seeking to appoint a Purchasing Assistant/Buyer for approximately 12 weeks to cover long term sickness.

The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for assisting in the procurement of all materials for a busy manufacturing plant.

Working closely with the Senior Buyer updating their live ERP stock analysis system and processing purchase orders and undertaking transactional work.


Ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent IT skills and confident communication skills.


Responsibilities:
* Assisting in procurement of all materials and consumables
* Day to day ordering of goods
* Issuing and checking of invoices
* Assisting in vendor development
* Assist in assessing the price trends for materials

Qualifications:
* Experience in purchasing, vendor management and invoicing
* High level of integrity
* Proficient with ERP systems
* Excellent communication skills


Hours of work are - Monday to Thursday 8.15 am to 4.45 pm and Friday 8.15 am to 1.15 pm.
