Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Project Services Manager, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities will include:
Identifying and recruiting a project services team to support the Project throughout each of the phases for the project.
Lead and direct a team of controls and services specialists including any contractor and specialist support throughout the project duration.
Generating and maintaining a Development Plan and Budget for the Project, co-ordinating the input from the document stakeholders; engineering, subsurface; facilities, etc,

Project Services
Steer, review and challenge the Define Estimates and Schedules in order to assist in arriving at the optimum economic solution for the new facilities which will form the project
Identify the key solutions that bring value to the development concepts, ensuring that adequate technical definition is provided for the evaluation of the concept itself, bringing it in line with Company and Project drivers.
Drive and review final definition documentation prepared by EPC contractors and interface with the associated activity making sure it reflects the estimating and schedule assumptions.
Develop the required documentation to support the Review and Approval Gates.
Ensure that the Project Services deliverables and supporting documentation are issued in a timely manner to support the engineering, fabrication and construction, and offshore construction activities.
Produce a clear definitive Contract and Procurement strategy that aligns with the Project Goals and Objectives to ensure optimum value is delivered

Qualifications & Experience
Engineering and/or Business Qualification to Degree with preferably a Chartered competence
Demonstrable experience and proven track record in Project Controls/Project Services disciplines within Project Management.
Experience project controls within design and operations.
Experience of working on North Sea Projects would be advantageous.
