The Project Manager position is required to support works undertaken across a range of projects being delivered by our clients Investment Delivery portfolio, this is a diverse projects portfolio covering mechanical, electrical and C&;I works.

The projects encompass the full spectrum of the Investment Delivery Process from Concept, through Design, to Implementation and Commissioning.

The candidate should have good leadership qualities, be highly motivated, well organised and capable of working within a closely-knit team

They need to be able to respond well to the demands of working in the nuclear sector

They need to be able to communicate, build relationships, be proactive and be part of a team

Leading all the activities associated with the full lifecycle of the project within the programme

Successful project delivery from concept design to handover closure stages in accordance with safety, cost, scope, quality and time in line with the overall project schedule.

Develop implement the project execution plan for the delivery of the project

Define the work scope to be delivered and interfaces with other elements of the programme.

Track progress against milestones, deadlines, budget providing key stakeholders with reports.

Identify risks & facilitate the resolution of all risks raised.

Anticipate, manage & resolve issues.

Change management.

Fulfil all the contractual requirements & deliverables.

Establish & maintain effective working relationships with all project team members, stakeholders & advisory services

Liaise with the Project Sponsor to ensure the business benefit is being delivered.

Recognise the importance of nuclear safety and zero harm

May be asked to work unsociable hours during Station Outage and provide Weekend / Bank Holiday cover.

Expected to attend site during normal working hours Monday to Friday 40 hours per week.

Degree educated ideally in engineering (any discipline), or equivalent qualification in an appropriate discipline with relative work experience Min level HND

Nuclear experience, working within a regulated, licenced environment

PMQ (APMP Level D) or equivalent PM qualification

Experience of delivering projects in Radiation Controlled areas

Experience of NDA funded programmes

Experience in delivering additional value engineering

Knowledge of budgets, cost control and commercial awareness

Experience of managing technical sub-contractors, UK based

Strong project delivery experience

Familiar with current HSE and CDM legislation, HSWA
