Orion Group are recruiting for a Senior Project Manager on behalf of our Multinational Pharmaceutical Client on an initial 3 month contract which is based in the Buckinghamshire area.

- Business Analyst, Project manager/leader, Change management,
- A project management role with technical aspects

Key characteristics:
- Experience working in a large, corporate environment - preferably pharma
- Leading teams, in particular for development projects and deployment of systems
- Pro-active in aligning with IT partners and various stakeholders
- Strong communicator
- Strong logical thinker & problem solver
- Comfortable working in a matrix environment and to cope with ambiguity
- Independent worker and able to move activities forward on his own
- Guard scope and timing of various projects
- Manage regular status meetings and chase people to achieve milestones
- Identify, report & mitigate risks and issues
- Plan, organize & facilitate meetings and workshops - where needed
- Process analysis and mapping
- Thinks in pragmatic approaches
- Strong leadership skills and able to motivate teams is a must
- Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision
- Quick learner, motivated self-starter
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills
- Medium to Senior (min. 3 years' experience in IT project management)

Key Knowledge/skills:
- Degree educated
- Agile methodology in practice
- Scrum
- Plus:, Veeva Vault, JIRA, Oracle, Java
- SharePoint
- The full O365 suite
- Visio

Project details:
- Technology mapping for an EMEA Team interactions/usage
- IT implementations in Medical Affairs teams
- Manage regional and local application projects with varying levels of complexity
- Specify project requests, taking into account the IT guidelines and procedures
- Group, prioritize and optimize those requests
