Job description

Orion Group are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer/Manager on a permanent basis for one of our international industry leading clients. This role would ideally suit someone looking to take the next step into project management and the successful candidate would be provided with all the necessary training to manage small to mid-scale projects.

Location:
Crewe

Salary:
Circa £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience + Bonus

The Job:
* Manage numerous projects simultaneously
* Ensure equipment and materials are procured and received on schedule
* Manage and engage with suppliers and fabricators
* Compile and check drawings and documentation
* Ensure that projects meet agreed budget, schedule, safety and performance targets, and align with all applicable legislation

Key Skills:
* A highly organised approach to new challenges with a visible track record of supporting engineering design
* Experience of generating detailed engineering specifications and the procurement of bespoke equipment
* Commercial awareness with experience gained in customer facing roles
* The ability to understand & adapt leadership, communication, and management styles to different cultures associated with multi-region project execution and multi-cultural teams

Key Qualifications:
Desirable to BEng in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum standard of HND or equivalent
