Project Construction Manager

Great opportunity to work for a leading Energy Company that designs and develops long-duration energy storage solutions for utility and distributed power systems. This role will be working on the construction of a milestone project in the North- West, just outside of Manchester on a new Renewable Energy Storage Power Station.

This is a permanent staff role, there is flexibility to work remotely initially, but there will be expectations for the successful candidate to spend significant time on site during the construction phase.

The Role:
* Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities for compliance with the schedule; Implements the Project Construction Execution
* Coordinate compliance with the schedule, safety, cost, and quality decisions in conjunction with the Project Field Manager or Operations Manager.
* Monitor and report on construction productivity and schedule performance (including trends) to the Project Director and Project Controls Manager.
* Understands the major commercial and deliverable terms of the construction subcontracts and manages within these terms.
* Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required

Required Experience:
* Have an Engineering/technician qualification or equivalent.
* Project management qualification.
* Minimum 10 years' experience working within a Construction environment.
* Proven track record of delivering on projects from inception to financial close and completion / operational stage.
* Experience of site management and CDM expectations.
* Has a genuine interest in the environment, sustainability and renewable energy.
