Project Assurance Advisor

Vienna - Hybrid

Great opportunity for an experienced Project Assurance Advisor to work for a Global Energy & Chemicals company based in Austria.

As part of their group strategy, they intend to transition from an integrated oil, gas, and chemicals company to a leading provider of innovative and sustainable fuels, chemicals, and materials, while taking a leading global role in the circular economy.

The Role:
* Lead assurance activities (e.g. IGRs) for the CAPEX projects portfolio of Fuels & Feedstock and Chemicals & Materials according to the stage gate process.
* Ensure consistent project delivery and performance with the goal of competitive project results compared to the industry across the entire portfolio.
* Ensure processes and procedures in place are adhered to and appropriately implemented.
* Align findings of IGRs with the project team and communicate results to respective stakeholders.
* Provide active and continued steer and assurance to project teams and provide guidance to deliver performance improvement.

Required Experience:
* University Degree Master/Diploma in Engineering or Project Management or similar.
* Minimum of 12 years relevant experience in Project Management, especially within Assurance processes.
* Experience as a project manager in an international environment with multi-disciplinary teams.
* Expertise in project management tools and methodologies.
* Deep understanding of project management processes and requirements per phase.
