Production Test Equipment Engineer, Lewes, £35,000 to £45,000

We are currently recruiting for a manufacturing company near Lewes for an experienced Test Engineer. Our client are undergoing a rapid rate of expansion and keen for a new individual to join the team. All design and development is managed on site and the customer base is worldwide.

For this role you will take the lead on developing a range of test equipment and for updating existing designs. This role would suit an experienced Test Engineer who is keen to expand on software and hardware development.

Requirements

  • Degree/HND in Software, Electronics, or related subject
  • Experience with production test equipment

Essential Skills

  • Hardware & software development
  • Basic project management e.g. Gantt
  • Systems level thinking i.e. architecture & requirements
  • Excellent standards of verbal and written communication

Preferable skills

  • C,
  • LabView
  • NI-PXI
  • Python and Linux systems knowledge
  • Automated Test Equipment (ATE)

Core activities

  • Development tasks including; system, component and process analysis, development & documentation

This role is commutable from Burgess Hill, Haywards Heath, Brighton, Eastbourne, Lewes, Crawley, Bexhill, Hastings, Horsham, Tonbridge.
