Job Title: Production Operator

Location: Nottingham (NG6)

Main function of the role:

Working as part of a team on a range of assembly and wiring tasks, building component parts for the company's public address and alarm systems, working to a product file and a bill of materials.

Key results area:

  • Accurate and efficient production build
  • Accurate logging of working time
  • Completion of cell documentation
  • Flexibility to work on different tasks or in different areas if required

Skills/Experience / Requirements:


  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Confident use of hand tools for wiring & assembly
  • Ability to follow bills of materials and instructions in product files
  • Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams
  • Ability to work with small components
  • Ability to identify electronic components
  • Good vision, including accurate colour vision
  • Willingness to undertake a range of tasks


  • Previous experience in a similar electrical/mechanical role
  • Previous experience of explosion proof equipment
  • Experience of inspection
