Production/Machine Operators
(Day/Backshift/Nightshift rotation)
Location - Kirkcaldy
Contract - immediate start - ongoing role with view to permanent
Rates: competitive (basic + shift allowance + overtime)

Our client, a successful manufacturing business is currently recruiting Production/Machine Operators for their facility based in Kirkcaldy.

Job Description

Experienced Production/Machine Operators are required for a 3 shift rotational contract role (Dayshift/Backshift/Nightshift). The vacancies are contract for a rolling contract with view to permanent.

Dayshift (6.00 am to 2.00 pm) - £10.36 per hour

Backshift (2.00 pm to 10.00 pm) - £11.01 per hour

Nightshift (10.00 pm to 6.00 am) - £12.13 per hour

Overtime 1 is £15.11 per hour
Overtime 2 is £19.86 per hour

Candidates need to demonstrate a high level of concentration while carrying out duties, have a reasonable level of fitness as there is a high degree of physical work required.

Preferable experience in manufacturing process coupled with sound qualification base (Standard Grades or equivalent). Good team player with confident communication skills, experience of working within a team environment to achieve high level output. A sound understanding of H&S matters.

The role will include manual handling, machine operating/setting, packing products for despatch and general labouring duties.

Due to location and start time, own transport or living near the facility is essential.
