Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Production Loss Management Specialist, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities will include:
Act as the subject matter expert for the production loss management tool project implementation.
Ensure that all production and water injection is optimised in both the short and the medium term in all Company operated assets
Act as focal point to drive improvements in operations efficiency and share learnings across the BU.
Work with RE's, PE's and subsurface to ensure consistent and accurate production reporting.
Improve, roll out and embed the production loss management process. From target setting to action close out on Leased and operated assets.
Build on the improvements already being made identifying and managing threats to production and water injection.
Increased reporting on investigations and action close out.
Managing compliance with the process to reach an embedded phase.

Qualifications/Experience
Qualifications in a secondary technical discipline or engineering degree would be considered advantageous.
Substantial experience in loss management tools and processes.
Demonstrated experience in the creation and successful execution of Loss management programmes.
Ability to effectively communicate and interact with a number of different stakeholders.
Understanding of Operations and Engineering or Technical disciplines
Qualified to travel to UKCS offshore locations (MIST, BOSIET, FOET, UKCS Medical) essential.

Knowledge
Experience in optimisation of both onshore and offshore facilities is required.
A clear understanding of day to day optimisation of facilities, wells and commercial constructs is key.
Deep understanding of production loss accounting and production allocation.
A working knowledge of UKCS HS&E Legislation is required.
An expert knowledge in Loss Management and reporting is essential.
Strong operational background, preferably including exposure to Production, Maintenance, Well Operations and Engineering Projects in the UKCS.
