Job description
Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Production Loss Focal Point, based in Aberdeen.
The production loss focal point is responsible for coordinating reservoir and well surveillance plans and providing Technical Support and ensuring well production surveillance workflows. Assist with integrated production assessments and well review coordination. Oversee production loss management processes including risk assessment, prevention strategy, and investigation of unplanned losses.
Providing support to the asset and production teams. Overall this role will optimise production efficiency through effective coordination and technical input.
Responsibilities:
* Provide Technical Support to the asset team
* Liaise across other technical disciplines to maximise production delivery
* Conduct timely and effective reviews of production losses
* Assess risks associated with production losses and implement preventative strategies
* Develop long term optimization plans to minimise production losses and ensure optimum performance
* Develop long term optimization plans
* Create processes for production loss management
* Ensure production data management is kept updated and efficient
Requirements:
* Efficient processing of production loss reviews and recording to ensure production loss risks are monitored and managed
* Experience in transformational change and focused on solutions
* A highly effective communicator who can work with other disciplines and functions
* Excellent interpersonal skills and soft skills in leadership
* Ability to work with competing deadlines and proficient in production systems and processes
* Bachelor's degree and petroleum engineering, chemical engineering or similar
* Relevant certifications in production optimization, reservoir engineering or production engineering
* May involve occasional trips offshore
