Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Production Engineer (part-time), based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities will include:
Work closely with petroleum engineer to maximise base production for the company through well surveillance, well optimisation and well intervention. Review production allocation reporting
Review, own and communicate the reservoir management plan for all company operated fields.
Review short term forecasts for the field.
Review and maintain scale management plan and coordinate the implementation of any required scale squeezes.
Work closely with petroleum engineer in new well identification, understand impact of facilities network on reserves. Depending on interests/capability, be responsible for simulation modelling of new wells in support of investment decisions.
Review any regulatory reporting required for the Operated fields.
Review production engineering input to JV quarterly partner meetings for non-operated fields.

Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Petroleum Engineering
Extensive experience in production engineering for Operated assets, preferably oil fields in the UK North Sea.
Familiar with PETEX software suite.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
