About the role

The Procurement & Supply Chain Manager reports to the P&SC Business Partner and will work with key stakeholders, and suppliers to drive both strategic value and operational excellence through all levels of the business. The Procurement Lead will develop and execute Procurement strategies that meet the business needs in terms of safety, cost, schedule and quality.

  • Leading the development and execution of procurement strategies.
  • Developing relationships with key stakeholders ensuring alignment of objectives and mutual setting of goals.
  • Accountable for the development of a robust supply chain that supports the delivery of project objectives.
  • Develop and utilise supplier performance monitoring tools in order to enhance performance
  • Ensuring that all major work packages are procured on suitable terms and conditions
  • Provide commercial support to projects being responsible for a range of commercial activities (bid governance, reviews, change management etc.)

What do I need to do the role?

  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent, with membership of CIPS or equivalent or significant and demonstrable practical experience.
  • Ability to work and lead cross functional teams and experience of stakeholder management
  • Ability to construct and deliver a robust procurement project plan that delivers the objectives of the project
  • Can manage multiple projects at any given time
