My client is looking for a Process Integration & Process Development Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a global leading manufacturing company, based in Greenock. This role will report into Technology Development Manager and be based in Greenock. This role support new products and processes to increase my client's capability to serve their chosen markets.

Key Responsibilities include;

  • Working with Design Engineers, Product Engineers and Process Engineers: the specification, design, and development of new process flows and technologies.
  • Establishment of Process Flows and their Integration, Unit Process Objective Specifications, Electrical Design Rules/Specifications and Physical Design Rules. Re-use of process modules and blocks to minimize Time to Market.
  • Providing technical support for improving the performance, manufacturability, yield, and reliability of process/products as part of the company continuous improvement activity
  • * Developing the value of the Intellectual Property portfolio by documentation, re-use and protection, as appropriate
  • * Assisting in the solution of customer problems associated with our products

Knowledge and Experiences

  • Knowledge of Device Physics and Process Integration of MOSFETs, BiPolar's, JFETS and Isolation Technologies.
  • Understanding of how unit processes are integrated to build these structures.
  • Good Knowledge of Unit Processes, their sensitivities and limitations and how to Integrate these into process Flows
  • Use and Definition of Physical and Electrical Design rules/specifications.
  • Ability to correlate Electrical Characteristics of Device into the critical Process Parameters
  • Knowledge of impact of Device structures on their Reliability
  • Knowledge of power semiconductor structures, simulation and test.
  • PC Literate (Word, Excel, Access)
  • Able to analyse data and write concise accurate technical reports
  • Statistical Analysis and Characterisation.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills commensurate of working in cross functional teams
  • Safety conscious in a wafer fab or laboratory environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivation with a positive attitude to work
