Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Process Engineer, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities will include:
Provide process support to operations on a daily basis to maintain high production and water injection efficiency. Engage with offshore team via morning call and regular contact via collaboration room.
Coordinate with Production Engineering to ensure optimal conditions for production are fully understood.
Identify areas for process optimisation and liaise with production operations to optimise production.
Understand plant operating/design envelope to ensure safe operation.
Provide support to other areas of the business (HSE&A Group, Facilities Engineering) in support of Engineering Changes and Operational Risk Assessments.
Conduct investigations into process related plant upsets and implement controls to prevent re-occurrence. Ensure actions are promptly closed out.

Qualifications / Experience
Bachelors or Masters degree in relevant Engineering discipline and working towards professional registration.
Extensive broad engineering experience, including hands-on operations field environment and also interaction with engineering discipline for project development.
Able to balance innovation and risk in addressing operational challenges.
Knowledgeable on performance standards and ensuring the asset are compliant with requirements of the verification scheme.
Experience in interacting with engineering discipline and third party contractors.
Strong initiative and orientation towards continuous improvement.
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills and strong organisational skills with the ability to work in a flexible team environment.
