Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Process Engineer, based in Yokohama, Japan.

Job Description

  • Coordinate Process and UTL system design (mainly utility design), control system design, fire fighting design, paint/insulation design, HSE review, commissioning planning matters and other design matters with discipline groups or consortium partner.
  • Support Engineering Manager and ensure that the interface between construction, commissioning, site engineering, consortium partner and client including Project IT group is effectively managed during the engineering phase.
  • Verify the deliverables (especially process deliverables) for consortium partner and develop/improve their quality.
  • Coordinate and follow up engineering queries, concession requests, non-conformities, technical deviation for engineering matters with relevant discipline engineers, consortium partner and company engineers.

Skills & Experience

  • Good understanding of calculating heat and material balance
  • Good understanding of calculating hydrostatistics
  • Utilising process simulation software or hydraulic calculation
  • Good understanding of creating the project specification or individual specification
  • Good understanding of P&ID
  • Good understanding of data sheet developments.

This is a contract position.

The rate for this position is negotiable.
