Job description

Short term contract - 4 months - Offshore

MISSIONS / SERVICE DIMENSIONS

* To supervise a high degree of coating/Field Joint Coating activities during offshore pipeline laying
* To ensure coating quality by technical inspections as per defined Quality Control plan
* To ensure that coating/FJC works are carried out by Contractor and Subcontractor in accordance with project specifications and standards.
* To achieve maximum technical benefit by ensuring international standards and project specifications are maintained on the facilities.
* To provide technical guidance to contractor and subcontractor work teams.
* To provide a high degree of coating/FJC during the offshore pipelaying
* Witness inspection activities based on the Quality Control Plan (ITP)

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

* Confirmed coating/FJC expertise, with at least 10 years' experience in large international projects.
* Painting and Coating/FJC qualification level II (NACE, BGAS or ACQPA-FROSIO qualified).
* Offshore experience is required on pipeline coating/FJC and practical knowledge of applicable codes and standards such as EN, ISO, ASTM, NACE and SSPC
* Fluent in English
