Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Petrophysicist, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities will include:
Undertake small (several well) to large-scale(Field/Regional level) petrophysical studies to extent and timescale requested by customers.
Mentor and support junior petrophysicists and other members of the subsurface community.
Assist in the real time petrophysical analysis of Op /Partner Op wells for key decision-making and management briefing.
Advise on formation evaluation programs including use of current or new technologies.
Help to compile and QC all petrophysical well results and data
Maintain strong links to industry bodies and peer groups to ensure current best practices

Experience
Expertise in corporate standard Techlog software.
Experience of log interpretation gained as a geologist or through a service organisation, preferably a major wireline or LWD company.
Expert in basic and advanced petrophysical interpretation.
Able to produce rush CPIs.
Good current knowledge of FE tools (wireline, LWD, coring) and their applications.
Good knowledge of SCAL (Special Core Analysis)

Qualifications
Degree qualified Scientist (BSc or MSc)
