We have a current opportunity for a Permit to Work (PTW) / HSE Senior Lead - (2201061) on a temporary basis. The position will be based in Uganda. For further information about this position please apply.

Job Overview:
HSE Manager will ensure compliance with company and client policies and procedures as well as federal and state laws. Successful candidates must have 10 or more years of relevant experience and recognized expertise in large international onshore/offshore oil and gas projects with at least 5 years of supervisory experience. The working environment is multicultural and demands considerable experience in the project process working with International Clients and Contractors. Strong communication skills, fluent spoken and written English.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with Company and Client policies and procedures as well as state laws as they apply to HSE Management and Permit to Work systems
* Conducts HSE and PTW audits and inspections in order to identify and assist in correcting unsafe and unhealthy work conditions or practices
* Provide guidance and training to persons managing the PTW systems, especially helping to introduce higher level controls for higher risk activities leading through to the introduction of hazardous substances
* Experience of working in SIMOPS work co-ordination and management of Lock out Tag out processes as they are associated with permit to work
Essential Qualifications and Education:
* Diploma or bachelor's degree in Health Safety & Environmental Engineering and 10+ years' experience with major oil & gas construction projects
* 5-10 years relevant experience with 2+ years PTW Management experience in Construction/Commissioning work environment.
* Certificate in Occupational and Construction Health & Safety
* Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management.
