As Party Chief (Offshore) your main responsibilities will include

Leadership and supervision of multidisciplinary team
Ensure staff and systems are working in compliance with contractual requirements, project procedures and company QHSE policies/procedures to safely and effectively meet the scope of work
Verify that the work meets the project specification and that safety, the environment and third parties are not compromised or threatened
Identification and implementation of hazard identification and risk assessment control measures; ensure that risk measures are followed by company and third-party personnel
Implementation and administration of company health, safety and environmental documentation and procedures for both company and third-party personnel
Complete end-of-contract report in accordance with company procedures and/or client specifications
Manage mobilisation and demobilisation activities with due regard to safety of personnel
Listen to suggestions and recommendations from subordinates and recognise and act on useful contributions
Comprehensive review and understanding of the project procedures for each survey operation
Ensure that all operations are carried out in accordance with Client scope of work and Company operating procedures.
Effectively liaise with Client, company management, marine crew and other contractors onboard to ensure effective communication of information and efficient performance of duties
Briefing of colleagues and subordinates whenever necessary

Significant offshore experience in a Senior survey-related position
BSc Degree or HND qualification in relevant survey related discipline
Demonstrable and effective personnel management skills
Fully conversant with Microsoft Office suite
High level of knowledge and understanding of current offshore survey techniques including pre-engineering survey, pre-lay survey, construction support, as-built survey, ROV survey operations, LBL installation and calibration, subsea metrology and dimensional control.
High level of knowledge and understanding of subsea engineering associated with Oil & Gas construction and field development.
