Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Paralegal, based in Westhill, Aberdeenshire.

Responsibilities will include:
Assist the Company Secretary in ensuring that all statutory books and registers of the companies are maintained and all statutory filings completed and submitted on a timely basis, in order to meet the requirements of all statutory bodies
Assist the General Counsel and legal advisors
Undertake activities relating to third party asset transfer
Provide legal support in preparation for running/attending data rooms
Undertake legal research
Provide legal support to designated departments
Check and give comments to standard leases
Check and give comments to standard Confidentiality agreements
Maintenance of the UK chart of companies involving all E&P, downstream, midstream and chemicals UK subsidiaries of the group (contacts, track of information)

Qualifications & Experience
Practical experience of company secretarial work
Good understanding of the essentials of Company Law
Excellent written communications skills and basic legal drafting ability
Expert knowledge of the corporate structure of the UK Group of companies, their directors and officers
First class administrative and organisation skills to ensure strict deadlines are met
