Package Manager (Electrical Services)

Location - Devonport Dockyard, Plymouth

Rates of pay - PAYE rate up to £41.32 per hour + holiday pay / LTD up to £53 per hour

Contract - 6 months+

The successful candidate will need to satisfy SC level security clearance process

Babcock International at Devonport is engaging in a new Project. 10 Dock is a major infrastructure upgrade and modernisation programme within Devonport Royal Dockyard seeking to design and build major new facilities over the next 5 years to support the Ministry of Defence. The infrastructure programme is current finalising the concept design and seeking to mobilise further resources to support the scheme and detailed design phase as well as commencing onsite physical enabling works to support the longer term construction contract.

Package Manager [Electrical]

Based in Devonport Royal Dockyard
Baseline clearance required before candidate can start.

Successful candidates will need to satisfy Ministry of Defence security requirements (this may include obtaining security clearance (SC) or developed vetting (DV) level of security clearances)

Electrical Package Manager responsibilities:
Package Manager (Electrical Systems) - The role will be responsible for key project management functions in support of the overall project delivery, including schedule, financial and risk functions.
Facilitate, develop and agree requirements , project scope and solutions for specific outputs and work packages
Manage the planning, monitor and control of work packages being delivered by other internal and external resources.
Forecasting of costs and monitor and report against budget
Stakeholder management and communications and to support development of stakeholder
Contribute to the risk process including the identification, assessment, planning and implementation of risks, opportunities and issues.
