Job description

**Title: Contract Package Lead Engineer - Oil & Gas Sector**

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced *Package Lead Engineer* for their Brownfield project.


Responsibilities:
- **Compliance and Conduct**: Uphold exemplary conduct by enforcing company regulations pertaining to safety (HSE) rules.
- **Team Management**: Define team structure while directing personnel towards achieving collective goals within Brownfield operations.
- **Engineering Studies Oversight**: Manage crucial engineering studies ensuring alignment with H3SE standards, schedule adherence, cost-effectiveness, and quality benchmarks.

Qualifications:
- Engineering degree or equivalent educational background
- Proficiency in English language communication

Experience Required:
- A minimum of 10 years managerial experience within the Oil & Gas Industry or Construction field
- At least half a decade's tenure previously fulfilling similar roles

Key Skills Include:

* Leadership Abilities - Proven track record managing teams effectively through complex projects.

* Technical Expertise - Robust knowledge base enabling oversight over intricate technical documentation development related to oil field systems.

* Strategic Negotiation - Experience preparing contracts aligning strategically with defined guidelines; adept at supervising contractual processes from inception till finalization after FID (Final Investment Decision).

* Performance Evaluation- Competent at assessing contractors' performance across various domains including health/safety/environmental compliance as well as quality assurance protocols alongside financial management requirements

The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong capabilities handling equipment handovers seamlessly into operational phases whilst adhering strictly to budget constraints without compromising on service dimensions. Moreover, the ability manage risks systematically updating registers accordingly along implementing proactive mitigation techniques when necessary is paramount .
