Job description

24 month contract in Uganda, 28x28 rotation

Activities

The DW Ops Interface Coordinator is responsible for:
* SIMOPS: prepare SIMOPS matrix and principles; anticipate SIMOPS impact on factory drilling
* Well sequence: anticipate in town well pads drilling sequence and prepare moving subsequently
* Work with Rig Contractor to optimize drilling operation, rig up/rig down BOP, Walking the rig between cellar, etc.
* Coordinate synergies (spare parts, personnel allocation) between the three identical rigs.
* Focal point with infield logistics and waste management contractor with regards to activity around the well pads in view of optimizing such activity
* Follow up with rig specialist the rigs construction, intake and mobilization.
* Verify rig design, manufacturing and operating compliance with rules, regulations and HSE requirements and regulations applicable in country of operations.
* Investigate positively for equipment brake down, failure, NPT and assist to minimize the repair and/or the NPT.
Accountabilities
· Prevent major incident and achieve HSE objectives by ensuring strict implementation of Company referential and international standards in the scope related to his responsibilities.
· Ensure that the drilling rigs and designed and manufactured in a manner to deliver the expected project factory drilling performance.
· Follow up the rigs and third parties' facilities and or equipment constructions, installations and intakes ensuring compliance with project milestones. This includes the drilling rigs, the LMP / bulk plant, the pipe yard and the third-party bases.
· Coordinate all interfaces between involved contractors and internal department for rigs and third party's mobilization and installation for rig and third party. This includes interfaces with civil works and logistic.
· During the operations, coordinate well drilling sequences between office and site; liaise with logistics and contractors, anticipate challenges and prepare then follow up moving. Coordinate waste management related logistics with Fluid, Cement and Waste department and logistics.
· In charge of preparing SIMOPS operations, with project (pad preparation, wells connection) and well intervention / work over campaigns while not penalizing the factory drilling philosophy.
· In charge of a team composed of a rig specialist and a position of operations coordinators rotational on site.

Qualifications/Experience required:

* BSc in relevant topic
* A minimum of 8 to 10 years of international experience in drilling or development operations either from contractor or from company side. Exposure to onshore development context.
* Leadership, English fluent and good interpersonal skills. Pragmatic approach and solution driven.
* Good knowledge of operations interfaces in development drilling.
