Operations Manager / Supply Chain Manager

Reporting to the General Manager


  • Plan, oversee and ensure all day to day operations of order processing / packing of finished materials are adhered to and exceeded at all times
  • Responsible for maintaining Procedures and Systems to highest level
  • In conjunction with Quality Department, Maintain GMP+, UFAS and Department of Agriculture approval
  • Directly responsible for ordering Finished Materials (FM) to meet production and despatch schedules
  • Together with Production Supervisor plan daily production for all rooms to meet order requirements.
  • Demand all products to be packed to the highest quality specifications
  • Promote strong customer and high quality service orientation
  • Develop harmonious relationships with all key stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Promptly ensure that the CRM function attend to customer enquiries in a courteous and effective manner.
  • Ensure CRM treat all customers with professionalism, dignity and respect.
  • Participate in the culture of teamwork and cooperation between the members of the team.
  • Promote quality and 'doing it right the first time' in all areas
  • Liaise with Account Managers regarding any additional information requested or issues
  • Ensure transports costs remain under agreed targets -Note transport is organised by one of the team
  • Supervise the company's supply chain and inventory, making sure despatch timelines and targets are met.
  • Assist the General Manager with recruitment.
  • Ensure all relevant shipping documents are prepared by your team to guarantee compliance with the relevant authorities.
  • Continuous reviews to improve the company's level of customer service.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the General Manager
