920834 - Operations Excellence Manager

We are currently looking to recruit an Operations Excellence Manager for a permanent position based in the Highlands

The main purpose of this role is to manage continuous improvement on site and to lead all activities through the identification, development and implementation of improvements

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Initiate and facilitate lean improvement programs and activities
  • Lead continuous improvement project teams on strategic projects within the plant operations
  • Excellent networking skills to collaborate with and share best practice across divisions for efficient production
  • Lead the planning, preparation and chairing of the weekly steering committee
  • Teach others to lead improvement efforts
  • Identify and eliminate barriers that have the potential to slow or block the execution of the project
  • Verifty results and ensure sustainability solutions are in place
  • Documentation and reporting of main plant KPI's and site targets
  • Degree qualified (in a technical competence)
  • Proven track record in a 24/7 manufacturing environment desirable

This is a permanent position

The salary for this position is negotiable
