Job Title - Operations Excellence Manager
Role:
Lead all Continuous Improvement activities through the identification, development, and implementation of improvements. This includes Project Management, Coordination, Training and Coaching.
Manage continuous improvement on site in line with the defined road map and provide tutorship & coaching to the leadership teams on CI deployment.
Act as a change agent for the organisation to ensure effective and timely implementation of sustainable improvement solutions.
The Client have developed a harmonised Operations Management System (OMS) across all sites. It has 6 key elements:
1. Strategic Alignment & Objectives;
2. Organisational Set-Up;
3. People & Performance Culture;
4. Performance Management;
5. Shop Floor Management;
6. CI Methodology & Tools.
The Operations Excellence Manager is instrumental in the management of all these areas.

Profile:
Degree qualified (in a Technical competence). Engineering, mathematical/statistical strengths preferred.
Experience in a 24/7 manufacturing environment desirable.
At least 3-5yrs working experience in a Continuous Improvement role and at least 5-10yrs working experience overall.
Full working knowledge of Lean concepts with demonstrated success.
Proven analysis and presentation skills including use of common tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Preferred statistical software (Minitab) experience.
Ability to engage a cross-functional team towards a desired outcome, often in a dynamic, complex and resource challenged environment.
Strong change management skills to include the practical implementation of Lean Manufacturing Principles and Concepts.
Possesses the skills to lead highly effective teams on projects with breakthrough objectives and demanding deadlines.
Strong leadership, problem solving and analytical skills.
