Job description

OCCMS is Orion Group's completions and commissioning specialist services division. Our team has a wide range of expertise and experience in sectors such as energy, clean energy, built environment, life sciences, mining and defence.

We have a fabulous opportunity for an experienced developer to join our established product team as Development Lead. Reporting to the Product Manager, the successful candidate will design, author and support software and web based solutions including database design for the Orbit Completions Management System suite of products. The postholder will prepare and build software deployment packages and client updates for release along with design and specify new features. The Lead will also assist planning sprints, manage development workflow, mentor the development team, and maintain documentation.

Applicants should have experience of MS Visual Basic .Net, C#, Microsoft T-SQL, web page authoring, mobile development and RESTful API along with Microsoft Visual Studio, Azure DevOps and SQL Server products. Candidates will ideally be within occasional travelling distance of Aberdeen but remote working will be also be considered. An extensive on-boarding programme and continued support will be provided.
