Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Motorperson, based Offshore

Responsibilities will include:
Assist in operation of utility systems and machinery
Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment for production, utility and marine systems
Assist in stores and supplies handling
Perform watch keeper duties. Carry out routine rounds, take and report readings
Assist in condition monitoring of utility equipment and machinery. Report abnormalities
Perform maintenance of machinery spaces
Perform housekeeping of machinery spaces. Ensure cleanliness is maintained
Assist wider Utility & Marine team during busy periods with tasks such as filter cleaning
Perform waste collection, segregation and processing
Use and maintain hand tools and instruments. Use workshop equipment
Use and maintain welding/ cutting equipment
Making the required entries within the CMMS
Receive and provide handover at change between shifts
Assist with other work as instructed by the Utility Team Leader

Trade level education - Class 4 officer of the watch or similar entry level, preferably with oil & gas or suitable transferable experience.

Previous experience as General Purpose Maintenance Personnel, Fitter, Engine Room Operator, Able Seafarer Engine (STCW)
Experience in maintenance of production, marine and utility equipment

Contract position - Duration: 6 months on 3/3 rotation
