Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Modular Door Technician, based in Aberdeen.

Main Responsibilities:
Carry out maintenance of Modular Doors including repair and fitment
Carry out site surveys, inspections and investigations as may be requested by onshore management or offshore client representative
Produce technical documents i.e. trip reports and survey findings and conclusions etc
Where required, assist with offshore activities, including but not limited to PFEER Testing, Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) Inspection & Testing, Ventilation Hygiene Cleaning and Air Quality Inspection
Assist other trades to complete offshore works, including but not limited to fault-finding, repair, refurbishment, overhaul and / or commissioning, as directed by Work Order, for all HVAC items and systems requiring corrective maintenance
Liaise with Onshore Manager to ensure work planning, technical issues and resource logistics are understood and progressed by all relevant parties
Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and job holder is capable and deemed competent to fulfil these
Observe the companies and clients quality management system at all times, in particular, working procedures to ensure that all tasks are carried out in accordance with these
Ensure timesheets and reports are submitted to relative personnel

Demonstrate a personal commitment to Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment
Carry out any necessary training as required by the company to improve skills and techniques. Ensure that any specialised certification i.e. BOSIET, MIST, medical etc remain up to date and valid at all times

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Time served apprenticeship in an engineering discipline OR offshore related experience in a similar discipline in a supervisory role
BOSIET & MIST
HND or HNC in a relevant engineering discipline
Detailed knowledge of PFEER, LEV, Ventilation Hygiene Cleaning and Air Quality Inspection
Basic knowledge of HVAC systems
Working at Height Training
Harness Training
Confined Space Entry Training
ISSOW (Performing Authority) Training
