Our client is a leading supplier to the Nuclear Industry and currently has an urgent requirement for a Mechanical Designer for up to 1 year.

Preferably you will have recent experience of producing mechanical design deliverables for Mechanical Handling Equipment, Special Purpose Machinery, Lifting equipment. You should also have experience using Inventor.

An understanding of general methodology for nuclear engineering design i.e. the need for modularisation, surface finish and specialist maintenance requirements. Experienced at outputting design documentation in the form of GA's, SA's detail drawings and fabrications. Incorporating weld symbols, limits & fits and geometrical tolerances as appropriate.

You should be educated to HNC level in a relevant discipline.

Standard hour 37 per week.
