My client is a multinational security solutions and fire protection company, and are a major player within their field. Their Power/Export department provides fire protection and detection systems for power stations, substations, process plants and industrial premises both in the UK and around the world, and currently have a number of opportunities for Fire Protection/Sprinkler Design Engineers to be based at either their Manchester or Halesowen office - possible remote working could also be an option.

You will be a competent AutoCAD user without the need for any training and can produce the following without supervision; protection pipework layouts, P&ID's and valve schedules.

It is essential that you have Sprinkler Systems design experience, although if you have specific experience with Medium or High Velocity Waterspray, this would be advantageous.

As a minimum, you must have knowledge of the following fire design codes; British Standard BS 12845 (Sprinkler) and NFPA Codes 13, 15 & 850 - desirable.

The majority of the work will be office based, however if you have site experience this would also be desirable.
